Study visit is a one week visit taken place in a scientific or research development institution in one of the European country. The main purpose of this activity is to improve marketing and promotional skills among researchers and academic teachers who are responsible for dissemination of the results of research / the study.
Another purpose of the activity is to promote a sending institution as well as its achievements and analysis of future collaboration between sending and host institution.

Within the project researchers and scientists have an excellent opportunity to execute study visit in a R+D center or company with the common scientific interest and gives an opportunity to establish permanent cooperation with a polish scientific institution.
Host institution could be chosen by the project beneficiary or with assistance of the project office. Every researcher interested in a study visit is obligated to provide Application Form and Individual Visit Programme (IVP) to the Office. The main criteria taken into account during the recruitment process are:
- popular science activities
- professional and international experience
- level of knowledge of foreign language.
IVP contains detailed program of the visit and needs to be confirmed by both sides – sending and host institution.

After the visit researcher is obligated to provide Confirmation of Stay and completed evaluation questionnaire. Documents have to be submitted to the office within 14 days after the end of the visit. Provided papers and the settlement of received funds is a final step of an executed study visit.
